After all that has happened, it’s not safe to say it was a big year for DJs! Many of the biggest EDM heavyweights achieved incredible feats this past 2020, but a lot of them slowed down their grow. From reintroducing new stages in big music festivals to undertaking unique new projects, these superstar producers have gone above and beyond EDM. But for those who will focus on their music this new year, there’s still so much to expect.
As the world welcomes 2021, here are some EDM artists to look forward to this year!
From one-to-watch to leader of the pack, Julian Jordan’s rapid ascent through the dance music world has been something to behold. It’s no surprise given the fresh quality of his productions, which always surprise and delight in equal measures. Not beholden to tired formulas or following the latest trend, he instead paves his own way with innovative rhythms, atypical riffs and endlessly inventive production. Julian’s commitment to energetic and cutting-edge shows has made him a regular at world-leading festivals like Tomorrowland, Creamelds and Ultra Miami, but also sent him on a crazy summer tour playing stages at Sziget, Mysteryland Lollapalooza and many more. While performing a total of 11 shows during Amsterdam Dance Event 2019, he once again hosted his very own Julian Jordan night.
He’s a prodigy the world can’t stop talking about. 21 year-old DJ/producer Curbi’s passion to evolve his own unique sound is stronger than ever, while he continues to prove himself as a leading name in electronic music’s next generation. Only a few short years ago, at the tender age of sixteen, Toby (from Halstead, United Kingdom) signed to the world’s leading dance music label Spinnin’ Records, becoming an instant hit across the globe. In 2019 Curbi moved into a new direction musically and released his biggest radio track so far. ‘Spiritual’ was added to many big radio playlists and was used by Insomniac as one of the tracks in there ocial EDC Vegas 2020 trailer.
Toni Costanzi is a young, talented italian producer, based in Agropoli (South Italy). Since a child he was fascinated by electronic and progressive music, thanks to this he approached the world of djing and producing. His first single “Storm” started his career at the age of 15, being appreciated by a lot of famous artists of the EDM scene. Signed in many international famous labels and increasingly present in top tracks rankings like his tracks “Bomboclvt” (TOP 100 BEATPORT ELECTRO HOUSE) and “Lies” (TOP 100 BEATPORT FUTURE HOUSE), he is known for his energetic and hard drops, characteristic of his style: the future only promising more to come!
